Brittney L. Stanton is an Education Specialist in the Center for Afterschool and Expanding Learning, responsible primarily for professional development and content creation. Brittney is dedicated to creating and implementing innovative educational content, focusing on the unique intersection of education and out-of-school learning environments. With a background as a music teacher, her work involves not only the development of engaging programs but also the strategic planning and execution of professional development initiatives designed to empower educators and administrators within the out-of-school time space.

Brittney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master of Science degree in Teaching, both from McDaniel College, where she focused on choral arts and music education. Prior to joining Foundations, Brittney honed her skills in both suburban and urban settings, demonstrating a profound commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning communities. Brittney transitioned to the non-profit sector in 2019, where she was propelled by her passion for making education accessible and impactful for students of all ages.

Brittney now proudly identifies as an honorary Jersey Girl. When not immersed in the world of music and education, she enjoys cooking, relaxing by campfires, and spending quality time with her newlywed spouse and their two cats.
