School Day Reading and Math Tutor

Part Time

We are seeking Part-Time School Day Reading and Math Tutors to help our clients excel academically! You will provide math and reading instruction to students on a group basis in-school during the school day. The perfect candidate will be a certified teacher or college student currently pursuing their teaching certification and have the ability to provide support in a K-12 setting.

Tutoring is provided in schools during the traditional school day Monday-Friday, four hours per day for a total of sixteen hours per week. This is a part-time contracted position and will run from October 2022 until May 31st, 2023.

Program Associate – Learning and Engagement

Full Time

The Program Associate – Learning and Engagement will provide production, analytical, and communications support around the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading (GLR)’s Learning and Engagement Opportunities (LEO) framework. The LEO framework is a series of weekly webinars and online learning opportunities designed to engage and inform the GLR Communities Network and others committed to promoting early school success and equitable learning recovery post-pandemic.

This position will serve a major role in the ongoing production of weekly 90-minute GLR Learning Tuesdays webinars, offered every Tuesday from 3-4:30pm ET with additional LEO tracks targeted at philanthropic partners and practitioners taking place from 12:30pm-2pm ET on Tuesday.

Tutor

Part Time

Foundations, Inc., a national nonprofit organization located in the metropolitan Philadelphia area, is currently seeking a experienced, certified Teacher and Reading Specialist to join our team of tutors to work one-on-one with a student who needs your help and support to improve their skills.

The qualified teacher will provide assessments, tutoring using research-based materials, and progress monitoring Monday-Friday 3 hours a day for up to 15 hours per week. Tutoring is provided in-person at the student’s home.

Speech Therapist

Part Time

Foundations, Inc., a national nonprofit organization located in the metropolitan Philadelphia area, is currently seeking experienced, certified Speech and Language Pathologists (SLPs) to work with school age and over-age students with special needs. SLPs will provide assessments, direct therapy, and progress monitoring to students in Philadelphia.

We provide competitive hourly rates and flexible hours (during school hours, after school and Saturdays). Therapy is provided in student homes and at other public locations such as libraries.
