Renie Nieves is Executive Assistant to the CEO and Exhibiting Coordinator, serving as the face of Foundations to countless education vendors and partners. Renie is a key member of the planning team for the annual Beyond School Hours conference, where she’s earned the nickname “Vendorina” for her many relationships with the exhibitors who showcase their products at BSH. A cartoon likeness of Renie in her Vendorina persona has become a popular feature in BSH conference promotions.
Renie has dedicated her entire career to working in the nonprofit sector in the greater Philadelphia region, with particular focus on K-12 education, afterschool enrichment, and college and career prep. As an accomplished salsa dancer – or salsera – Renie encourages everyone to dance like nobody’s watching. When she’s not flying across the dance floor, you can find Renie cooking up a storm in her kitchen, working on her She Shed, or spending time with her family.
