Maggie Frymoyer is the Assistant Director of the Academy at Penn. Her work centers on student growth, equitable pathways to college and career, and the power of quality programs to help students thrive.

Having previously worked at the School District of Philadelphia and Archdiocese of Philadelphia, she brings experience in student engagement, program development, and partnership building. Her work focuses on connecting students to high-impact opportunities, strengthening community partnerships, and expanding access to programs that broaden students’ academic and personal horizons. As a first-generation college graduate, she finds purpose in creating pathways for students to explore their potential.

Maggie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from Ursinus College and a Master of Public Administration from West Chester University. Originally from Central Pennsylvania, she now calls South Philadelphia home, where she lives with her partner and their two cats, Appa and Momo. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, staying active, and volunteers with Project MEOW to support community cats in West Philadelphia.
