Liz McKeaney is the Director of Professional Learning, devoted to designing rigorous yet engaging curricular and instructional programs focused on 21st century skill development.  With a strong background in strategic planning and instructional improvement, Liz provides leadership and support to program development in the areas of course evaluation, instruction, assessment, and professional development. 

Prior to joining the Foundations team, Liz served as the Director for Curriculum Assessment and Instruction for a public school district serving over 5,000 students. In this role, she established research-based instructional models to encourage active student engagement and cultivated partnerships with businesses and universities (i.e., ArcelorMittal and the LaSalle’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship) to foster out-of-school collaboration among businesses and school students. Liz received her Bachelor of Science in elementary education, master’s degree in education administration and K-12 Principal and Curriculum and Instruction certificates from Temple University. She earned her doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
