MaryEllen Gorodetzer is Chief Program and Innovation Officer, providing strategic planning support for educational programs and initiatives, as well direct support for school services.  Drawing on her decades of experience as both a principal and a superintendent, MaryEllen spearheads the school leadership mentoring program – and is also the primary contact point for National Advisory Committee engagement.

MaryEllen has a strong commitment to developing a sense of team and collaboration, doing whatever it takes to get the job done.  This commitment to empowering those around her resulted in the recognition she is most proud of – the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators Award for Instructional Leadership, awarded by her peers who witnessed her in action.

MaryEllen holds a doctorate in educational administration from Widener University, as well as a dual master’s degree in speech pathology and audiology from Hahnemann University and a bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and education from East Stroudsburg University.  When not on the job, MaryEllen loves to cook for her friends and family (especially Italian recipes learned from her father!) or take walks with her husband (especially on the beach!).
