Rene Poulsen

Director, Finance and Information Technology

Rene Poulsen leads financial operations and information technology to support Foundations' integrated services to the education field. She provides general financial management, grant fund accounting and reporting, as well as compliance. Working closely with senior management, Rene informs strategic decision-making and program administration to build internal capacity and help position the organization for new opportunities.

Rene has over 25 years of broad experience in finance and information technology with both for-profit and non-profit organizations in the healthcare, manufacturing and data marketing sectors. Since joining Foundations more than 14 years ago, she has developed financial systems and policies from the ground up and has lead internal teams to support finance, business planning, budgeting, administration and IT. Her early career was focused on accounting with special focus on cost analysis. She also served in information technology management capacities with major organizations in the Pacific Northwest region.
