Elizabeth Cieri

Director of Teaching and Learning

Elizabeth Cieri brings a strong professional background in school leadership, instruction and training, program development and curriculum development to her work at Foundations, Inc. As Director of Teaching and Learning, she works with teachers, principals and administrators to develop strategies for strengthening teaching and increasing student achievement.

With a firm belief that great leadership drives high quality education, Elizabeth has designed and facilitated professional development sessions, including integration of Common Core Standards and Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTII), and has also collaborated with administration to support instructional practices. Her skills also include analysis of school-wide data to determine academic needs and implement action plans. Immediately prior to joining Foundations, Elizabeth worked in the 14th largest urban school district in the U.S., where she served as an academic coach with particular focus on literacy education. She continues to champion reflective practice as the key to improving classroom instruction and learning.

Elizabeth earned a M.Ed. degree in Education at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a B.A. degree in Communication and Theater from Alma College in Alma, Michigan. She holds PA teacher certifications in Elementary Education and Middle School English.
